In the early hours of today, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has confirmed three new cases at Lagos this morning increasing the total number of affected persons to 25.

It was tweeted this morning on the official handle of @NCDCgov and quoted

” Three new cases of #COVID-19 have been confirmed in Nigeria.

As at 6:45am on the 22nd of March, there are 25 confirmed cases of COVID-19 recorded in Nigeria

Of the 25 confirmed cases, 2 have been discharged with no death.

All 3 cases was reported in Lagos state and have travel history to high risk countries in the last 7 days  ”

Note that there is a very close gap in this announcement as the last 10 cases confirmed were announced yesterday afternoon so let us be careful in our dealings.
