Last time I talked about colours to pair with yellow. So I’d like to talk about clothing items to own in this colour and how to wear them.
The perfect yellow dress/ Monochrome yellow outfit
If making a statement or making heads turn when you walk in is what you love doing, then wearing a yellow dress can be the perfect way to do so. Your footwear can go all the way from chunky sneakers to classy heels.
However, you really dont need to accessorise too much.
NB: It’s nice to keep this look relatively simple and just pair it with neutrals like white,black, metallics/brown.
Yellow Blazer/Denim
This happens to be my best must-have and it is really important if your style is to look chic.
If you have a pair of jeans & striped top in your wardrobe, this could be the perfect way to update them.
Yellow Tee
Yellow can be worn easily as a top/tee. It looks fabulous with neutral bottoms like white or black.
You can wear a vibrant yellow with blue jeans.
Yellow Skirt/Pant
This screams chic and classy🤸♀️🤸♀️🤸♀️. This is a go to clothing item that can go from casual all the way to corporate.
Yellow Shoe
The fact that a pair of yellow shoe can bring life to an outfit going from 0 to 100 makes me so excited and giddy😁🤸♀️🤸♀️.
You can wear an all navy/black outfit and a pop of yellow shoe😁.
Yellow accessories
This is by far the easiest way to add a lil bit of yellow to your wardrobe. Adding a yellow bag, belt or scarf to your outfit is one good way to accessorise.
NB: Your yellow doesn’t have to be bright. You can go for a more subtle approach with either a mustard/lemony/pastel yellow.
