Post-UTME admission screening exercise involves the verification of candidates’ UTME/O’level results and other relevant documents. Candidates are expected to get most of these documents/ requirements ready before the post-UTME/DE admission screening date.
If you are preparing for the 2020 O.A.U. Post-UTME screening, it is essential that you get the past questions and answers in order to prepare adequately for the exercise. It will help you know the nature of the Post-UTME exam, how the questions are set, how questions will be asked and the time you will be given to answer these questions. Below are 6 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT O.A.U.’s POST UTME
- Registration started on Monday, October 5th and would end on the 31st day of this same month, October.

The Post UTME Examination would kick start on November 21st, 2020 and end on December the 5th, 2020. Candidates who picked O.A.U. for second choice do not stand a chance of gaining admission.

The Examination comprises 40 questions altogether, and these 40 questions go for 40 Marks. Meaning 1 mark for 1 question.

The duration for the Examination is 60 Minutes ( 1 hour). Hence, the need to be time conscious.

Your UTME subject combination is the same combination for the Post UTME I.e. the same subjects you sat for whilst writing your UTME are the subjects you’ll be writing for the Post UTME. For instance; an individual who wrote Biology, Chemistry and Physics in his UTME, these same subjects must be written in his Post UTME. Meanwhile, there’ll be an additional subject, summing it up to 4 subjects. This fourth subject would cut across History, Current Affairs and questions testing your reasoning ability, etc. For instance, questions such as; ‘Which University was first Established in Nigeria?’, ‘Which river is the largest in Nigeria?’, ‘Which bridge is the longest in the world?’. This fourth subject will hence be called “Aptitude Test“
Note: You may not come across any question on Current Affairs in your “Aptitude Test”, but you need to be prepared just in case.
- Candidates who applied for Direct Entry (D.E.) should be reliably apprised that they won’t be writing any Examination, but would be screened. Therefore, they are to register too.
