The Retired Police boss who was Assistant Commissioner of Police in Lagos State in the year 1991.
He explained that SARS was a panacea to bringing an end to the reign of the infamous armed Robber popularly called Shina Rambo.
Shina Rambo was on rampage as at that time and was threatening the life and properties of residents in Lagos.
This made him write to his Inspector General as at that time for the establishment of SARS.
Twenty-nine years after, the panacea to insecurity now appears to be the Cause of insecurity itself.
This has therefore resulted to the general outcry to End SARS.
