Security officers have been seen around the Ikoyi Correctional Center in a bid to stop any jailbreak attempt.

It was learnt that the prison authorities had immediately notified the police and the military authorities for backup.
Eyewitness revealed that prisoners were seen on the balcony ,Soldiers and policemen have also arrived at the premises and prisoners were seen throwing stones.
A lot of the prison officials have gathered at the entrance of the prison while some of the inmates have retreated.
