WASSCE: How to check 2020 WAEC result

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) released results of candidates that sat for the 2020 West African Senior School Certificate Examination in Nigeria on Monday, 2nd November, 2020

WAEC made the announcement during a press briefing by its head, Patrick Areghan in Lagos State.

WAEC said candidates that are not indebted to the council should check their results through checker PIN on their SMART IDENTITY CARDS used for the examination.

According to him, “Candidates who sat the examination and who have fulfilled their financial obligations to the council can access their performance on the council’s results website.

The process of checking the result goes as follows:

Go to www.waecdirect.org

  • Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number.
    (This is your 7-Digit centre number followed by your 3-digit candidate number eg. 4123456789)
  • Enter the 4 digits of your Examination Year eg. 2002
  • Select the Type of Examination
  • Enter the e-PIN Voucher Number
  • Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your e-PIN
  • Click Submit and wait for the results window to come up
