Strange Disease kills more than 30 in Enugu

A strange Disease which erupted in Ette Uno and Umuopu in Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area of Enugu State has Killed more than 30 people.

The epidemic which broke out at Ette uno in September has now spread to other places killing lots of people.

Although, the state Ministry of Health has been notified and investigations are currently ongoing to unravel the cause of the deaths. samples from the affected persons have been collected and tests for Lassa fever, cholera, yellow fever and meningitis are ongoing.

Coronavirus tests will equally start in the affected communities today.

Meanwhile, Ejike Itodo, chairman of Ette Uno local Government had met with stakeholders to increase enlightement on the diseases

Amongst the people that Died are 30-year-old, chinedu oyiga, student of University Of Nsukka, 40-year-old Emeka Elugwu Onu, and 47-year-Old Simon Eze and others.
