Inside OAU Media gathered that a Lecturer, Dr. S.O. Babatunde, from the Quantity Surveying department,, Faculty of Environmental Design and management (EDM), O.A.U., just kicked the bucket (died) today.
It is understood that he had an underlying illness, as it was reported that he recently had been struggling with an ailment of which precision hasn’t been disclosed yet.
Going by the testimonies gotten from students in his department, Dr. Babatunde was Father-like; He was approachable, loved punctuality and usually took time to explain his coursework. He always ensured that students have a good and full grasp of his courses, of which are characteristics of a good lecturer.
It is our prayer that he rests in the bosom of our Lord. The Icon will be greatly missed by the entire O.A.U. Community.
