Following the threat from SSANU that there will be total darkness in the Obafemi Awolowo University senate building yesterday, 16th Feb, 2021, the school has been locked down early this morning, 17th Feb. 2021.
The members of the NASU & SSANU, O.A.U. Chapter were said to have begun a protest which eventually led to a roadblock at the Campus gate and Staff Quarters.
Both Entrances have been declared blocked, thus, placing restrictions on movement.
Only pedestrians have the chance of moving around as Vehicles remain static due to the Roadblock.
