Following the decision of the Obafemi Awolowo University Management to conduct this year’s Post UTME Online, there have been complaints from a large number of Candidates who feel that having to write the Examination online might not go well as they cannot predict the stability of their Internet connection amongst many other reasons.
However, the Management of the school has taken these Candidates into consideration and decided to have them write the Examination, still Online, but at the School’s Center For Distance Learning (O.A.U. – CDL), Moro, Ile – Ifé, Osun State.

This means that Candidates who wish to travel down to Ifé for the Examination regardless of their different locations are permitted to, given that they do the needful – They’ll have to pay a sum of #1,000 to write their online exams as they will be making use of the school’s facility.
The Post UTME which was earlier scheduled to hold physically and commence on Saturday, February the 27th, 2021 was later rescheduled to hold Online between March the 15th and March the 19th, 2021.
Although the general dates and time for the Examination have been announced (March 15th – March 19th, 2021, between 9am and 4pm each day), Candidates are however meant to log in to the admissions portal to check the date and time allocated to them.
In the light of the aforementioned, candidates who wish to write the Examination at the School’s C.B.T. Center, O.A.U.-CDL, Moro, Ile – Ifé are to come along with a sum of #1,000 to be eligible. In addition, they are also expected to be at the Venue before the time allocated to them.
Meanwhile, Inside O.A.U. Media earlier informed you of the guidelines passed by the School authorities for Candidates to follow when writing the Examination.
Read the guidelines here: Guidelines for O.A.U. Post UTME
By and large, Candidates who will be writing the Post UTME at home or at any Computer Centre around them are to duly follow the guidelines as directed. Failure to comply with the rules may result in the forfeiture of their result.
Moving on, some Candidates who have checked the portal for their Examination date and time have frowned at the time allocated to them. These Candidates claim that the time allocated to them was 12am, and they do not know how possible it’ll be to write their Examination at that time.
However, in an exclusive chat with a staff of the school, we were told that concerned candidates should keep checking the portal to reconfirm their allocated time as that was only a mistake and the school couldn’t possibly have allocated that time to them intentionally.
Therefore, concerned individuals are advised to keep checking the portal for the proper time when they will be writing the Examination.
Inside O.A.U. Innovations wishes every Candidate success as they prepare to write the Examination.
All the best!
