There was overflow of joy and happiness inside the OAU campus days ago as students and their parents storm the school for the celebration that recognises the students as bonafide members of the school.
The unusual turned usual as Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife had to wait till almost the end of the semester for an activity that is usually done around the mid-semester. This can be blamed on the covid-19 pandemic and ASUU strike which lasted for months.
After so long a period, approximately 1 year, Obafemi Awolowo University matriculated its Part 1/ DE students (100 level/200level) students on 5th May, 2021.
Amazingly, the joy to get matriculated was still intact in the students despite the fact that it was expected to have been done at the usual period and the following week marks the beginning of the Harmattan semester for 2019/2020 session.
Nevertheless, we will be posting some amazing pictures from the matriculations (serving as memory).
Meanwhile, the management of Inside OAU innovations (IOI) and the entire members wishes you all Happy matriculations once again and we wish you all success in your forth coming exam.
