5 TECHNIQUES ON HOW TO COPE WITH STRESS ON CAMPUS.

With all knowledgeable fact and without doubt, the educational system of OAU is designed sap life out of a student. To mention but a few, the long distances, poor facilities, over populated lecture theaters, learning in even the most difficult conditions e.t.c

Virtually, every department on campus have this aforementioned difficult learning patterns which stresses every student. As a student in a white or yellow house department, Linguistics, Dramatic Arts e.t.c you can’t deny the fact that studying overall is made difficult.
Although, there are still ways you can cope with the stress without any signs that you are being stressed at the end.

1. PRAY TO YOUR GOD OR GODS
Religion has a way of relieving man off the pain and struggles in this world.
Whereas, this method can’t be entirely relied upon, it can give you a significant emotional relief from the stress on campus.

2. EAT WELL
Eat good food, eat well. Oh! there is no time to cook , I’m having a tight schedule and all those flimsy excuses you give yourself. But out of no time you find time, no offense but it is out of your little time that you chat and post. So, always find time to take good care of yourself, create time to cook and eat good food.
Moreso, once you can maintain a well balanced diet you’ll remain healthy and show little or no signs of stress.

3. AVOID ENGAGING IN TOO MANY ACTIVITIES
As a student you should abstain from engaging in too many activities on campus. In as much as we want to remain relevant and vibrant in campus, too many activities only stresses you more. It would be adviceable to reduce the amount of activities you engage in on campus, sound health matters.

4. TIME PLANNING
Always do the right thing at the right time. What I mean by this is;
• doing your assignment at the right time.
• get to the lecture hall at least 10 minutes before the commencement of the lecture for you to take a rest from the walk and for your brain to settle down before the class begins.
• read your book as at when due and when your brain can assimilate, be it night or day.
• Study yourself well and don’t copy others.
• Always avoid any trouble from lecturers.
Above all, avoid everything and anything that can get u into trouble.

5. HAVE A GOOD SLEEP
Lastly, sleep well, this eases you from all the stress you’ve gone through all day. Scientifically, humans are meant to sleep at least 8 hrs a day, but students will always be like it’s not possible in a school like OAU. But at least for one’s brain to be cool, one has to sleep at least 8 hours daily. Sleep when due and sleep rightly.

In Conclusion, if these five can be taken into consideration by all students then I’m sure we all are going to cope with campus stress.
