Foods are essential in daily lives of individuals, but there are foods that are to be restricted to different categories of people. In this article, I’ll be discussing 7 foods that should and shouldn’t be eaten by students.

1. PIZZA AND CHEESEBURGER

Pizza and Cheeseburger can lead to students gaining extra weight and this gradually leads to fatigue. Cutting down the intake of pizza and increasing the intake in vegetables reduces the risk of fatigue due to excess weight thus, providing more time to study.

Sodas should be avoided by students due to its high content of sugar. Plain yoghurt and milk should be taken more because of the presence of vitamin D, calcium and protein. It also has no content of sugar.

3. ALCOHOL

Alcohol has a major bad influence in student lives and health. Homemade fruit juice should be taken more due to its presence of natural sweetness and its also highly nutritious. Avoid buying fruit juices as much as possible as lots of sugar is added to some fruit juices.

4. CAFFEINE

Caffeine should be taken with caution. Caffeine helps to keep awake the body and brain but excessive intake could cause insomnia damaging the brain along the process.

5. HEAVY FOODS

Heavy foods such as potatoes should be avoided because it brings in fatigue to students. Students should consume lighter foods e.g cereals to make them active.

6. FRIED

Fried foods such as fried chicken should be avoided as much as possible because of its high level of cholesterol and unsaturated fats. It should be replaced with lots of fruits, beans etc.

7. CANNED FOODS

Canned foods such as canned fish should be replaced by fresh foods because canned foods are preserved with chemicals gradually causing brain damage.
