Blank Page: 5 Effortless Ways To Get You Organized This Year!

Hi there friend, welcome to 2022. I’m so glad we made it! We may not have accomplished all we wished to have accomplished in 2021, but that shouldn’t weigh us down. This new year is another chance to accomplish our dreams and improve ourselves. My advice to you will be to make working on yourself a priority, and one of the ways to do that is by organizing yourself (this year). Here are a few ways to get you started on that:

1. Have A Schedule/ To-Do-List for everything

This year is still fresh, and you shouldn’t waste it. Make a list of the things you want to accomplish and lay down plans on how to accomplish them. Have a scheduler and create a daily routine around everything you do, involving but not limited to your academics, job, leisure and even sleep. That way it will be easier to focus on the important things and you’ll feel fulfilled anytime you tick something off your list.

2. Don’t Multitask

As ironic as this might sound, multitasking distracts the brain. When you multitask, you often won’t put in your best as you should and what you do will not be 100% because your mind is distracted. Even religion knows you can’t serve two masters, so why multi-task?

3. Learn to be patient

It’s very easy for us to get so worked up and lose our cool and often this could cause us to be disorganized which ends up having effects on us later on. Things might not be turning out as you expect them to, but trust the process, you’d be amazed by what a little more sabr can do!

4. Take a break

Whether you decide to sleep or take a nap or just meditate, it is important to let your mind and body rest when they need to. You could take a walk in nature-filled environments or just even reflect on your day and observe yourself, this could help calm down your nerves, organize yourself and improve.

5. Have Faith!

Whether as a Christian, a Muslim or someone who doesn’t believe in God, it is important to always have faith! You might not have faith in God, the universe or even the process you have so much hope in/for, but at least have faith in yourself. No one knows you better than yourself. Take care of yourself, pray if you believe in religion, take deep breaths and assure yourself everything’s going to be alright one day and you will definitely improve.

Now I’m not a motivational speaker and I may not have encouraged you or even used the right choice of words, but try to be more organized with these steps and you’ll be happy you did. I hope you achieve a lot this year!
