Black college students

In partnership with the Nigerian Women Association of Georgia (NWAG), the NWAG is providing scholarship possibilities to Nigerian females who wish to pursue a degree program in their home country. A total of 37 one-time scholarships, one for each state of origin and one for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), in the amount of three hundred dollars ($300) each, will be awarded to deserving female students enrolled in Nigerian colleges by the National Women’s Action Group (NWAG). Mrs. Dayo Keshi called a group of dynamic Nigerian women to her home in 2000 to explore how we could pool our resources to make a difference in the lives of Nigerians both at home and abroad. Mrs. Dayo Keshi was one of the women who attended the meeting. Many of the women in attendance were successful individuals who belonged to a variety of civic and charitable groups.
