The new mind-blowing features hitting the world of WhatsApp users is massive as WhatsApp enlarges it coasts with 2GB file sharing and 512 members on a group chat.
Before this update, a limit of 256 members was set on each group chat but with the new update, a group chat can house 256 more members. The added benefit of end-to-end encrypted large file (2GB) sharing will enable businesses and others in use of it to share files securely and easily. The upgrade from 100mb since 2017 to 2GB now is futuristic.
Similar to Facebook, WhatsApp’s new feature of reacting to messages has also been impressive. Even though the available emojis are limited, Meta, WhatsApp’s parent company, has announced that it will be fixed subsequently to suit different skin tones with all emojis.
The update isn’t limited to any phone type, it will be available on both IOS and Android. So not to worry if you don’t have it yet because it is being rolled out slowly.
Multiple users have expressed their shock and happiness about the new updates and how it feels like the future is here with the updates.
The third feature to be released is called Community. It will enable people to join multiple group chats together. It will be composed of people who are all part of the same organization or group like a school or apartment building and the main group will have sub-groups for people to discuss specific topics. There will also be a mechanism for admins to send announcements to all the members.
