Following the extended midterm break that was announced by the School Management on the 7th of April, 2022, the management has finally urged all students in all Halls of Residence considering the fact that ASUU and FG government couldn’t reach a consensus on school reopening after the 3 months warning strike.
The new broadcast on the vacation of students from all halls of residence goes as thus;
Following the update on the current strike action embarked upon by all the Staff Unions in the nation’s Federal Universities, the University Management has decided that all students should vacate the Halls of Residence not later than Friday, 13 May, 2022.
To this end, all undergraduate and postgraduate students in the Halls of Residence are directed to vacate their respective hostels and go home till further notice. It is our hope that issues necessitating the strike action will be resolved as soon as possible.
The University Management and the Division of Student Affairs wish all students safe journey to their respective destinations.
