As it is, we have no choice but to dance to the tune of the drummers, since our lecturers all around have decided to go on an extra 3-month Strike, making it 6-month strike, it seems really long, but e go finish one day. However, everyone wants to do something for themselves during this break, I’ve come to you with things you shouldn’t do during this break.

1. Don’t Come Back To Ife

E get why, don’t come Back to Ife, we’ve been enjoying the power supply since you all left, so if you’re seeing this break as an opportunity to come back to Ife, I’m warning you now, don’t come back!

2. Reckless fornication

All of you planning to visit your Boo, lieing that you have some stuffs to do on campus, everyone is expected to leave halls of residence not later than Friday, 13th day of May, so, there’s nothing you’re coming to do, if you visit boo, even with protection you’ll get pregnant in Jesus name.

3. Don’t Read School Books

You think you can outsmart us by reading arbi, no worry, nah who quick read go quick forget, continue reading you hear, don’t find something else to do,  best in igi iwe.

4. Don’t stay idle

You’ve not heard about keep pushing? You stopped gravitating towards your future because ASSU decided to pause school? It’s basically you being OYO.
Brush your mouth, spray good perfume and enter the labour street. You can’t afford to miss out on the amazing opportunities flying around here and there.

5. Chop life

Why are you the one storming all the parties and visiting all the clubs? Go home now that the school has sent everybody  home because your maid duties await you and you can’t escape them. What good does it benefit you to be squatting with a friend when you’re the important child of a family? Hello? Go home!

6. Judas Iscariot moves

Why do you want to betray the thousands of students protesting against the strike? If you can’t at least be present physically, join the online fraction and support the cause. We know you don’t want to back to the hustle bustles of OAU but you no wan graduate? You better be retweeting or carrying a placard.

7. Ghosting Pro max

You went home and you feel the next thing to do is to abandon your friends? Why are you off the radar? Who are you forming scarce for? Don’t ghost your close friends when you know they will be worried about you, save everybody from emotional stress and keep in touch with them.

As much as we hate to hear that we should develop ourselves during this period,  we can’t help but try our best to make the time worthy while voicing out our discomfort to those that don’t seem to care.
