NNPC/NAOC/OANDO Joint Venture seeks adequately qualified applicants for its 2022 Tertiary Scholarship Scheme 2022 as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility.

Species of Honors

  • The Merit Award for Host/Transit Communities – Only NAOC Host/Transit Communities can apply.
  • Non-Host/Transit towns are eligible for the National Merit Award.

 

Only those who have been selected for further consideration will be informed of the exam date. Selection and shortlisting of candidates are left to the NAOC’s sole discretion

Eligibility Standards 

To be considered, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Undergraduates enrolled full-time in Nigerian universities
  • Students who are 100-level certified at the time of their application (only those accepted for the academic session of 2021/2022)
  • Students in the following groups are not eligible:
  • Students enrolled in the 200-level and higher
  • Recipients of Awards of This Nature from Other Organizations
  • The NAOC/NAE/4AE/CPFA/dependents NACPFA’s
  • In order to be considered for the Host Communities Merit Award, you must be an indigene of one of the four NAOC host/transit communities in the states of Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, or Imo.
  • The National Merit Award is only open to students majoring in Engineering, Geology, Geosciences, or Agricultural Science.
  • If you’re selected, you’ll take the aptitude test either online (remotely) or at one of a few predetermined locations. At the time of application, applicants must indicate whether they prefer to take the test online or at one of the specified test centers (cost of transportation to the centres to be borne by applicants).
  • Be sure to have the following documents scanned in before starting this application.
  • Three months old or less passport photo with white background (450px by 450px not more than 200kb)
  • Card of Identification for Students at the School
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Letter of Admission
  • A birth certificate is required to obtain a driver’
  • Proof of Origination from a Local Government Area
  • The community’s supreme ruler has sent a letter (Only Applicants for Host Communities Merit Award)
  • Chairman of the CDC sent a letter (Only Applicants for Host Communities Merit Award).
  • An official JAMB score
  • Make sure the names of the files are consistent so that they don’t get mixed up during uploads.
  • When requested to upload documents, make sure you include the correct ones.
  • To ensure optimal communication, be sure to give working email and phone numbers.

  • Select “Apply Now” from the drop-down menu that appears.
  • To begin the registration process, simply click “Register Now”.
  • To activate your account, head to your email inbox.
  • Enter this URL: https://candidate.scholastica ng:schemes/2022-naocscholarship to return to the scholarship website.
  • Upload your information by entering your email and password.
  • Input your personal information, including your National Identification Number (if you have one), educational information, and other details, and upload any necessary scanned documents.
  • In order to avoid confusion, make certain that the names in your application correspond to those in all of your documentation. Otherwise, submit an affidavit or certificate.
  • Take a moment to review all documents before uploading them to avoid mistakes.
  • If you’re prompted to upload a photo, use one from your passport that has a white backdrop.
  • Keep an eye out for problems by rechecking the application’s data
  • To begin the application process, click “Apply Now.”
  • If your application is accepted, you will be notified via email and text message.
  • Your Head of Department can then sign the form and return it to you by emailing it to you at [email protected] so that you can download it.
  • This will be used to verify the signature on the profile.
  • Step 6: Obtain a National Identification Number (NIN) if one was not provided in the preceding step (NIN)
  • To register and learn more about the National Identity Number, visit http://ninenrol.gov.ng.
  • After clicking “Create Account,” you’ll be prompted to complete the following fields:
  • To complete the form, please enter your email and password.
  • Schedule a time for a photograph and a finger print scan to be taken afterward.
  • To finish the registration process and get your National Identity Number, go to one of the capture centers listed at https://www.nimc.gov.ng/?q=nin-registration-centres.
  • The NIMC office is also where you may complete your registration.
  • Complete the application at https://candidate.scholastica.ng/schemes/naocscholarship2022 by entering your NIN.

  • The Scholarship board will disqualify you if you submit more than one application.
