The sweet-faced lovable Labrador Retriever is America’s most popular dog breed. Labradors are very friendly, and of high spirit and are companions who have more than enough affection to go around. They are nicknamed “Labs“.

A Labrador Retriever can stand from 21.5 to 24.5 inches at the shoulder and they weigh about 55 to 80 pounds. They are either yellow, black, or chocolate. They’re also America’s most popular breed.

They have a high sensitivity level, they shed a lot, they are easy to groom, easy to train, and are also intelligent. The poms as they are generally called are compact, active, and capable of competing in agility and obedience or simply being a family friend.

Poms may be small in size but in their minds, they are much larger than they look, which sometimes leads them to harass and even attack larger dogs.

They make very good apartment dogs. They are alert and curious about the world around them. Classed as a toy dog breed because of its small size, the Pomeranian is descended from larger Spitz-type dogs, Pomeranians are small dogs weighing 1.36–3.17 kg and standing 8–14 inches high.

Pomeranians have a variety of colors which includes white, black, brown, red, orange, cream, blue, sable, black and tan, brown and tan, spotted, brindle, and parti, plus combinations of those colors. The most common colors are orange, black, or cream/white. Because they are alert and intelligent.

They are easily trained though not as easily trained as other small dogs. Poms can be exercised with indoor play and short walks. They will master tricks and games with ease, though their favorite activity is providing laughs and companionship to their special human. They don’t need exercise like the Labs. They don’t like being alone, and they have a high sensitivity level.

The Samoyed is a substantial but graceful dog standing anywhere from 19 to a bit over 23 inches at the shoulder. They are powerful, and tireless, with a thick all-white coat impervious to cold, Sammies as they a called are perfectly beautiful but highly functional.

The upturned corners of the mouth keep them from drooling. Sammies can miserable and destructive when subjected to solitary confinement.

These are smart, social, mischievous dogs who demand love and attention. Sammies need a very firm but loving hand in training. The Sammy’s famous white coat is thick enough to protect them from cold conditions. Sammies are known to be drop-dead gorgeous but highly functional.

The Samoyed’s fondness for humans probably stems from his close association with the Samoyede (now known as the Nenetsky) people who bred and raised him thousands of years ago on the Taimyr Peninsula of Siberia. The dogs pulled sleds, herded reindeer, hunted game, and protected the Samoyede against predators.

The dogs also lived with the people, played with the children (which he still enjoys), and helped keep them warm in the cold climate.

Sammies sheds a lot in the spring, and this is due to the fact that they keep a lot of their fur during the cold season. Samoyed “wool” is a favorite of weavers; the wool is carded, spun, and woven or knitted into warm, beautiful clothing. The hardy and sweet-tempered today.

2. American Eskimo



They are called “the dog beautiful” by admirers, the American Eskimo Dog, or “Eskie,” is a striking dog with a white coat, sweet expression, and black eyes. They’re a Nordic dog breed, a member of the Spitz family.
Although the Eskie is a small dog — 10 to 30 pounds — they have a big-dog attitude.

They can tolerate cold weather, they are great shedder, easy to train, and have a high energy level.
They do not drool like other breeds of dogs. They are known to live up to 15 years.

The Eskie is primarily a companion dog, a devoted family member who thrives in the middle of family activities. He is cheerful, affectionate, sometimes rowdy, and very smart — so smart he’s thought to be one of the most intelligent dog breeds.

The Eskimo is a freethinker and is recommended from puppy-hood due to his obedience training. Due to his intelligence, an Eskimo can outsmart his owner. He excels in activities that require him to use his brains, such as obedience training, tricks, agility, conformation, and other dog sports.

The Eskimos are excellent watchdogs and will announce the comings and goings of strangers with barking. They take their duties very seriously, but not in an overly aggressive manner.

They can also be big talkers. If they aren’t talking, they might be chewing. Most are avid chewers and need a constant supply of chew toys to keep them from munching “illegal” household items and to also help keep their teeth clean and healthy.

Eskimos make excellent apartment dogs as long as they are walked regularly and given plenty of opportunities for exercise. A well-trained Eskie gives his family years of fun and joy

The Golden Retriever is a Scottish breed of retriever dog of medium size. It is characterized by a gentle and affectionate nature and a striking golden coat. It is commonly kept as a pet and is among the most frequently registered breeds in several Western countries. They are frequently used as competitors in dog shows and obedience trials; they can also be trained as guard dogs.

The Golden Retriever dog can be as high as 22-24 inches and bitches from 20-22 inches and weigh between 25 and 34 kilograms.

The Golden Retriever is considered intelligent, gentle-natured, and very affectionate. The breed is known to make excellent pets and family dogs, being generally extremely tolerant of children and keen to accompany any member of the family in a range of activities.


The Golden retriever usually retains many of its gundog traits and instincts which include an excellent sense of smell and a strong instinct to retrieve.

These dogs are fairly easy to train and get along with their human family. They’re great with kids and very protective of their humans. If you want a loyal, loving, and smart companion, then you should consider adopting one of these pups into your pack.

They have a high sensitivity level and high energy level. They love to eat, and will quickly become overweight if overfed that’s why the high exercise of about 40-60 minutes daily is needed. They have high drooling potential and high sensitivity levels. Compared to other retriever breeds the Golden Retriever is quite slow to mature because of this they retain the silly, playful personality of a puppy until three to four years of age, which can be both delightful and annoying. Many keep their puppyish traits into old age. They are also used as therapy and service dogs. And they can live up to 12 years.

Golden Retrievers are family dogs and shouldn’t spend hours alone in the backyard.
Although they’re gentle and trustworthy with kids, Golden Retrievers are boisterous, large dogs that can accidentally knock over a small child.
