8 months might sound not so little, but the 239 of 365 days long strike seems to be coming to an end soon as ASUU NEC is set to meet on Thursday to discuss the fate of Nigerian students.
The National Executive Council of ASUU has announced its meeting scheduled to hold on Thursday 13th, October 2022, with a few of its branches set to hold meetings tomorrow.

Prior to this, The Court of Appeal had ordered ASUU to call off the strike after rejecting ASUU’s application for a stay of execution of the lower court’s order. Femi Falana, the lead counsel for ASUU, has also affirmed that resumption is closer to the students of federal universities than ever.
