2. Accounting Department
From our Statistics, this is the second most populated department in OAU. Almost all commercial students put in for accounting. They all want to be accountants and bankers, wearing nice suits and shoes. Every session, at least 300 students are admitted into the accounting department. Because of their large number, they cannot all even recognize one another, therefore, causing so many factions in the department.
3. Microbiology Department
This is a department from the faculty of Science. Everyone’s childhood dream is to be a medical doctor. While some people’s dream grew out with childhood, some people’s brought their dreams to OAU but it’s a pity that the dream was cut short as OAU do not accept up to 100 students for medicine and surgery. For this reason, many of these people are sent to Microbiology. Not just from medicine and surgery but from other college of health courses. Microbiology admits nothing less than 300 students every session.
4. Law Department
These are the OAU mass choir, always in white and black. Of course, a large number of students want to come in to study law. Even though many of them were rejected or transferred to other courses of study, some were admitted. Law is the only department that is also a faculty, this department admits about 280 students yearly. OAU Law students are known for their high shoulder pads (Pride).
5. Arts and Social Sciences Education
This is a department from the Faculty of Education. This department consists of many courses merged into one. There is English Education, economics education, social studies Education, Geography education, and many more.
