Top 10 Strongest DC Heroes (2022)

Share

Growing up, you’ve probably wished at some point that you had superpowers and could fight alongside your heroes. Or you just had an imaginative mind and couldn’t stop thinking about how cool it’d be not necessarily for justice. Well for whatever reason, we can partially thank DC for giving us such bizarre thoughts. And for doing an excellent job of creating, developing, and pushing the proper superheroes into the spotlight. For old-time sake, wanna meet those who could banish evil in mere seconds? Then come along on this reading journey.

10. Cyborg

Cyborg

Victor Stone is one of the best fighting partners to have around. With him being half human, half machine, his accessibility to information is quite endless. The more you know, the better a situation can be handled. Though initially with the teen titans, Vic is now seen as part of the justice league.

9. Supergirl

Supergirl

Imagine if Superman wasn’t raised on earth. What if he arrived as a teenager accompanied by all the attitude of the territory? Well, that’d be Supergirl. Cousins from the same home planet, she is just the younger female version of Superman.

8. Shazam

Shazam

When a character has been imbued with the wisdom of Solomon, the strength of Hercules, the stamina of Atlas, the power of Zeus, the courage of Achilles, and the speed of Mercury, there are very few others that can stand up to them. Fun fact, that character is Shazam. It’s almost like having 6 beings in 1. Well, you know how difficult that’s going to be. Only a few select can actually match his power.

7. Aqua man

Aquaman

He’s the King of the seven seas, ruler of Atlantis. Arthur is in a league on his own. Being in control of 70% of the earth is no small task. Part human, part Atlantean, he’s definitely not to be underestimated. Whoever does, do it at their own peril. And trust me his trident isn’t for show. He’s basically synonymous with Poseidon, the Greek god.

6. Green Lantern

Green Lantern

When you’re a superhero whose limitation is his own imagination, you’re bound to end up on the most powerful DC superhero list. Green Lanterns get their power from the Green Power Ring. With the Green Power Ring, each has the ability to physically create anything they can dream up. All that daydreaming you do could even be created. Be calming down. All that said, the most remarkable thing about the Green Lanterns isn’t the above. Instead, it’s that if one should die, the Ring leaves its side and seeks out a new wearer. Do you want another knuckle ring? Are you worthy sha? This pretty much makes the Green Lanterns eternal.

5. Martian Manhunter

Martian Manhunter

Displaying a wide range of abilities that can even compete with Superman; J’onn J’onzz of the planet, Mars is someone whom the rest of the DC Super Hero community looks up to as their elder statesman and the voice of wisdom. After losing his home, family and practically the entire race, he’s quite intentional about defending his adopted home- earth.

4. Flash

The Flash

Whoosh! Whoosh! That was the flash-off to fight crime, or maybe pick up some pastries for his co-workers. If you’re wondering why The Flash is on this list of the most powerful DC superheroes, remember this. The Flash can travel back through time and change the future. Doesn’t mean he’s going to help you in changing that test score though. He’s quite friendly and approachable. You’ve probably heard someone calling that fast runner Barry Allen. Not to worry, that’s just the flash civilian name.

3. Batman

Batman

Now there have been lots of arguments concerning if Batman is actually strong. But strength isn’t necessarily having superpowers. When it comes to resources and forethought, you’ve gotta hand it to him. Having his alter ego as the rich pompous playboy, Bruce Wayne is a blessing. Of course, his emotions are almost as dark as his costume but he just means well. In his own disturbing surprisingly way. He knows he can’t go toe to toe with all these aliens and half-gods and that’s fine. But trust me anybody going against him isn’t getting out of it unscathed.

2. Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman

Alter ego as Princess Diana of Themyscira, she is a proud Amazonian warrior and also a demigod. Unsurprisingly, she is one of the most powerful DC heroes. She is as arguably as powerful as Superman (minus an ability or two). In addition to her powers, she has her indestructible bracelets, a projectile tiara and of course the legendary lasso of truth. Not to mention she’s quite beautiful.

1. Superman

Superman

Well if you’re super close to him, you can either call him Supes or Kal-El. Though when he’s not fighting crime or strategizing with the league, he’s Clark Kent (a reporter). While some heroes may be more intelligent, better at fighting, and quicker than Superman, none can do everything that he can. He unanimously owns the show. There is practically no problem he can’t solve. Villains try to get rid of superman first because they know the extent to which he poses a threat.

Memory lane sure is sweet. Was there someone you were expecting that wasn’t there? Or do you have concerns about the list? Let us know, we’re expecting to hear from you. Email….
