In this blog, we will delve deeper into the world of “Gangs of Lagos” and rank the top 7 strongest “Eruku” gangsters featured in the movie, using the information presented in the film. Join us on this exciting journey as we explore the  Popular Amazon Prime movie “Gangs of Lagos” .

1) Kazeem

After betraying his friends, he became the ‘Eleniyan’ (Owners of men). Kazeem, also known as “KZ‘ has alaye Bam Bam always calls him, is the son of a butcher, the father of Teni, and one of the most notorious gangsters in Isale Eko. Undoubtedly, he is considered the strongest among the Eruku in Isale Eko, based on his exploits. Kazeem has demonstrated his strength in various ways, including defeating Obalola in a fair fight and shooting London before he could even draw his gun, owing to his remarkable speed .

2) Obalola

Ogunmola Akande, also known as Obalola, is a book and street-smart young man from Isale Eko with big dreams. However, his aspirations were cut short after Kazeem killed his friend, Ify. Despite his valiant efforts, Obalola came in second place in our ranking; we would have placed him at #1, but he was unable to defeat Kazeem in a fair fight until Gift Intervened. Nonetheless, Obasco, as he is popularly called, is undoubtedly one of the strongest contenders we have seen, having emerged victorious in numerous street battles.

3) Gift

Gift, a woman in a man’s body, alongside her sworn brothers, Ifeanyi, and Obalola, became fully immersed in the street life following the demise of their Godfather, Ninolowo. Gift, is undoubtedly one of the strongest gangsters in Isale Eko. She enjoys wearing masculine clothing, has engaged in multiple street fights, and has been responsible for the demise of Kazeem, an Eleniyan.

4) London

Who else was shocked when Kazeem attacked London with an axe during a street battle but it failed to penetrate him? (odeshi something). London was the leader of a rival gang that was never at peace with Nino and Kazeem’s gang. He was an influential street figure who owned a club where he used underage girls for drug trafficking, after being killed by Kazeem for political reasons, the blame for his death was shifted onto Ify, who ultimately paid the price with his own life

5) Ekun

After Nino’s death, Ekun, the albino who was once a friend and associate of Nino, left Kazeem’s gang and formed his own group. While some, like Obalola & Gift, believed that Ekun had betrayed Nino by doing so, Ekun had his own reasons. He revealed the truth behind Ify’s death to Oba and assisted him in gathering an army to avenge the deaths of his father and friends since they both have a common enemy.

6) Kash

The character Kash in the movie is played by the popular Nigerian rapper, Zlatan Ibile. Kash is one of Ekun’s boys and is known to be fierce, as demonstrated by his survival of the second bloodshed between Obalola and Kazeem. Kash has engaged in physical combat with Obalola on a few occasions, and while Obalola beat Kash to a pulp, Kash managed to get a few hits in. All in all, Kash is a strong character.
