Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) witnessed an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation as students cast their votes in the highly anticipated 2023 OAU Student Union (SU) elections. The 2023 OAU election was filled with cruise and savages, i mean “one would think it’s Nigeria Presidential Election”. Tension here and there .
Following a vigorous campaign period filled with spirited debates, rallies, and engagements, the results of the election have finally been revealed.
The electoral process, showcased the democratic spirit and active participation of the OAU student body. Students exercised their right to vote, making their voices heard in shaping the future leadership of the student union. The election was seen as a crucial milestone in determining the direction of student advocacy, representation, and welfare on campus.
