Previously, it served as the capital of the similarly named ancient Igbomina-Yoruba city-state. Sun State’s Ifedayo Local Government Area is where Òkè-Ìlá Òràngún is situated. In Òkè-Ìlá Òràngún, there are roughly 35,000 people. The inhabitants speak the Igbomina dialect of Yoruba of the Òkè-Ìlá Òràngún kingdom. Òkè-Ìlá Òràngún is well-known for its variety of performances, including intriguing, vivacious dances and acrobatic feats performed during dancing masquerade occasions. 7. Ede
One of the peaceful towns in Osun State is called Ede. One of the earliest Yoruba settlements, Ede, was established around 1500. Muslims make up almost 90% of the population in Ede. The Ede mosque is well-known in this town. Ede is quite as popular as Ile- Ife and has a federal polytechnic within the community. The markets in Ede are quite big and entertain visitors and traders from all over the state. Ede has some good old buildings that are quite extraordinary and worthy of a visit.

The traditional state of the Iwo Kingdom is located at Iwo Iwo. The Iwo people have Yoruba ancestry. Ikirun, a significant commercial hub in Osun State, is the location of several industries, including those that produce furniture, textiles, and food. Ikirun residents are renowned for their friendliness and tranquility. Ikirun has a relatively low crime rate, and the neighborhood is generally safe and secure. In Ikirun, there are many parks and open areas that offer locals options for leisure and relaxation.

The Yoruba town of Esa-Oke is located in the Obokun Local Government Area. Most Esa-Oke residents were farmers who engaged in the production of food crops such as yam, maize, cassava, rice, and others. There are also fields of commercial crops, including cocoa, kola nuts, and others. Esa-Oke is often referred to as a farm town where food is plentiful, living expenses are quite low, and there are a lot of hardworking individuals, which makes the crime rate in this town almost nonexistent.
