Africa’s most beautiful campus , OAU has officially announced its school fees for the 2023/2024 academic session. As previously reported by Inside OAU Media, the proposed school fees were subject to debate among the school management and stakeholders during the recently concluded Senate meeting held on September 12, 2023. OAU has now confirmed its current school fees for the 2023/2024 academic session through a press statement released by its Public Relations Officer, Abiodun Olarewaju.

PRESS RELEASE: OAU Adjusts Student Fees
The authorities of Obafemi Awolowo University, located in Ile-Ife, Osun State, have made adjustments to the fees that students will be required to pay. According to a release by the university’s Public Relations Officer, Abiodun Olarewaju, the new fee structure is as follows:
For students in the Faculties of Arts, Law, and Humanities, freshmen (referred to as ‘freshers’) will pay #151,200, while returning students in these faculties will pay #89,200.
In the Faculties of Technology and Science, new students will pay #163,200, and returning students in these faculties will pay #101,200.
Additionally, students newly admitted to the Faculty in the College of Health Sciences and the Faculty of Pharmacy will be required to pay #190,200 and #128,200 for new students and returning students, respectively.
These adjustments were decided upon during an emergency meeting of the university’s Senate on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. Please note that these revised fees are applicable for the upcoming academic session only.
